Toys For Tots Drive a HUGE Success

Wow! Our Willow Glen neighbors are awesome! We had the Marines come by WG2.0 World Headquarters yesterday to pick up two full boxes of toys. When I left last night though, I forgot to bring in the boxes. Tonight when I went back over to put them away, we had two more full boxes of toys, plus another bag that wouldn't fit in the overflowing boxes. We collected puzzles, books, Legos, Barbies, a TON of stuffed animals, a Cabbage Patch Kid, lots of games, uncountable race cars, and a plethora of other fun stuff. All in all, I'd guess we collected well over $800 worth of new toys for some great kids this Christmas.

Thanks to all of you who brought by a new toy to give this Christmas. You're all heroes. And special thanks to Michael Mulcahy and the Garden Theater team who gave us a great spot to keep our collection boxes.

From Sara and I to all of our Willow Glen neighbors, thanks for making this such a special Christmas and helping out by giving to Toys For Tots this year. It makes me proud to live here.
