WOW - A lot has happened in the past year! The classes now meet on Sunday night from 6 to 7:30. They are going really well - wonderful students are attending. Life is so full and so good.

- Definitely! I've been slacking off on my practice recently, and expect to do so again this week. (Oddly, the client records are coming along though; that's my peaceful hour or two for late Sunday afternoons.) But the week after, you'll have to come by after class. Or anytime next weekend; it's one of the first in recent memory with no "have-to-do's" planned. I'm hoping to go to your show 9/12 too. Looking forward to it!

Bubba's Parents - Lisa & Erik said… - It sounds like a plan however we'll need to wait until my couch is delivered so I can select an area rug and alas, a paint color. Then should we agree on a project then I'll know what color scheme and so on to go with. Out of all my obsessive internet and shopping research I can't believe we've already made some buying mistakes in our quest to redecorate (if you could see our place you would understand as we are transitioning and have a behemoth of a new coffee table in our small front room and a mammoth of a couch yet to come). A bit of buyers remorse compells me to listen to my inner voice to avoid further mishaps. We're changing wood colors and living in utter chaos right now as our new flat screen TV is poking in my spine as I jot you this note. This also gives me time to research a bit more. I know I want to put something on the new black wood media cabinet and don't know if I want to have an acid sort of bright glaze or go a simple black and white. Our couch has an eta of 4-6 more weeks and still plan to come see you in the interim at your show in Mountain View and look forward to our meeting and seeing your work.

Sorry its taken so long. We've been out stimulating the economy and its exhausting. We are redecorating and will spare you the painful details of the countless stores we've been to (ok 26 in the last 10 days). I've compiled a few pics of ceramic items I like & attached it to this via word document . What I am looking for is an orchid plant holder and bowls with pedeals. A spring green or chartreuse cake plate with fluted edges on a pedestal would be fun. I find so much on etsy and thought I should check in with you. I really want to come to your show in June & think I'll be able to make it. Sounds like it would be a fun outting & finally get to meet you. Let me know if you have an etsy account. This place feeds into a few of my obsessions.

How are you doing? I miss you. I miss our walks. I'll be at the Italian Festival this weekend and keep my eyes out for you. I've been working pretty hard this past month, but doing really well. I'm recovering from a nasty flu and a snip of lyrangitis. Looking forward to seeing your new art.

OTher gifts ideas - say a ceramic gift ...
Don't forget you have a local potter you can buy from! In addition to the art on the walls at Monsieur Beans which is for sale I still have some Christmas Bells (they ring!), flower bowls in green, Serving dishes painted with lovely Christmas wreathes, some French butter keepers in both the Holiday and "everyday" glazes, as well as wonderful felted Christmas stockings to hang for decorations.

Yoga Classes Tuesdays 7 to 8:15 pm
I held my first yoga class at St Francis Episcopalian church on Newport and Pine last night. I had 4 folks attend - there is room for more! The class went well and I love my group. It is a nice location and I think the class went well - everyone seemed relaxed and refreshed by the time we left. Come by for a drop in visit for Stretch and Surrender - $10.00 for a gentle yoga class with a strong breathing and meditation practice.
